Beeswax, wonderful beeswax!
Beeswax! What can I say? It's amazing stuff. We use it in many of our products for it's skincare benefits. The best part is that we get our beeswax (& honey), locally at @honeygirlmke.
Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. The wax is formed into scales by the wax-producing glands in the abdominal segments of worker bees. They discard te wax in or at the hive. The hive workers collect and use it to form cells for honey storage and larval and pupal protection within the beehive.
Beeswax is a main ingredient in our amazing lip balms. Such a great barrier for your lips in these harsh winter elements!
